About us

Over eighteen years ago, God planted a seed within the heart of our pastor when he was but a young man.  Passionate about establishing a community of believers that lived an effective, enjoyable Christian life that produced consistent results from living the word, Pastor Leon, set out to discover God's master plan for this community. But he didn't just want another church - he wanted it to be something that made a difference for the believer and unbeliever alike, regardless of imperfection, drawing them into the light and love of God. 

 

Since then, God has watered this seed within the heart of our pastors with wisdom, experience and an abundance of love to now build and nurture what was then and is now known as Vessels of Honor Ministries International!

Pastor Leon  began his journey and call in ministry, as an ordained minister of the Gospel at the age of 19.  Following his ordination, education and training, his passion for pursuing God and building leaders was evident, fueled by a desire to see others succeed in life through knowing Christ. 

 

His innate drive to encourage and develop men and women of this generation into great, Godly-leaders is reflected in his teachings on how one can impact communities, transform their own life and the lives of those around them through learning and applying God’s principles of excellence, integrity and love.

Dr. Hines, affectionately known as "Pastor Tish," lives out her passion to encourage others toward their life’s destiny, through helping others find the true freedom that can only be found in Christ Jesus.

With a sincere love for God and ministry, Pastor Tish, actively serves the community in pursuit of seeing the power of God transform men, women and children toward wholeness. 

 

Together, pastors' Hines reside in the Los Angeles area and parent three beautiful children.
